World Hunger

This map is part of a very informative website at Poverty.com from the United Nations. If you check it out, you will find statistics about hunger and poverty around the world, what some of the causes and impacts of it are, and a practical strategy for dealing with this problem on an International basis.



You will also see faces of people (admittedly composites) who are suffering and dying from poverty all over the world... I found this page very compelling and I wanted to share it with you because it includes so much really useful information, but also because the human aspect makes that information more real. How can we look at the faces of our brothers and sisters around the world and not want to reach out and help. And we could help with a very little bit of change in our own lives...



This one really made me think.
